 Seems not all of the competitors are taking this thing seriously. Keith even wants to pull a Jake.  whats wrong with puling a JAKE!!!!!!! hehe ilovejake<3

It's using the competition and not going in fully wanting to win, which screws over the other competitors who might actually want to win but may not get as far because of these people.

Until he go to the top 3, and realized that if he won he couldnt be with his band hedley ( the old one) and he would have to be and ARTIST not a band. And he didnt want that. so yeah its not like he was just using it as a stepping stone or anything. he did boost up his career, but he doesnt want to be known as a candain idol contestant anymore. yeah .. i got a little carried away. sorry  |

Well that's the thing, sure he didn't actually go in seriously. But now people are using his "I auditioned as a dare" thing to actually use as a model and plan it that way, which is totally using the system and screwing with people. I know I'm not alone in saying I'm not going to invest my time and money and give votes to someone I know is starting with this kind of plan - a plan to not even win. Seems pointless to me in a show like this.
The difference with Jacob is, he pulled that out of his hat later and didn't go "Oh I don't want to win but vote for me anyway". Otherwise that'd be a waste of our time. He actually appeared to want to get far for awhile, which I like better than telling us from the start that he didn't want to win.
Keith here... he hasn't even had a live performance yet, and yet he's already acting smug about knowing he'll get to the top 3 and then stopping, and that is what annoys me.
I did like him, and I was going to vote for him, but not anymore, that's for sure. I'd rather have Jake back in a heartbeat, LOL.

That angers me. I strongly dislike Jacob.... for what he did to the other competitors by pulling out. Now with his band, he is extremely disrespectful to Canadian Idol, and the fans that it got him (mostly teenaged girls who think he is teh hot1!!). I understand that Jacob is Jacob and is a bit loco, but he needs to show some respect to the thing that got him to where he is. As much as he may hate to admit it, Jacob and Hedley would be nowhere without Idol.

And yes hedley would of gotten somewhere even without idol. they just wouldnt of gotten this far. he has thanked idol alot. if you were a big fan you would see it in all his postings. but since your not you shouldnt say that he basically desrespects canadian idol. JUST my opinon |
